Purpose

The Business Development Analyst plays a key role in identifying new market opportunities, driving revenue growth, and supporting strategic business initiatives. This position involves data-driven market analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that strengthen our position in the aerospace MRO and manufacturing market. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, industry knowledge, and a passion for driving business success in a competitive and dynamic field.

Objectives:

  • Elevate corporate branding by creating a strong Customer Value Proposition.
  • Produce BD presentations for customers.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Main responsibilities

BD Operations:

  • Lead the marketing strategy.
  • Present regular reports to keep management up to date on results of all sales and lead-generation activities.
  • Follow-up with related departments to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Follow-up on leads obtained through personal contacts, provided lead lists, and interaction at trade shows.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships.

Proposal Development and Bid Support:

  • Assist in the development of proposals, presentations, and other materials for potential clients and partners.
  • Support the RFP process by working with internal teams to gather data and develop proposals tailored to customer requirements.

Market research and analysis:

  • Track and maintain sales and performance statistics.
  • Make recommendations to management as a result of market analysis and sales results.
  • Maintain competitive edge by actively monitoring competitor initiatives and activities, and by gather information on products, merchandising tactics, delivery schedules and pricing.
  • Update and maintain CRM.

 

Your ideal background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Must have some relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in BD, sales role, preferably in Aerospace (MRO).
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships, excellent with customer facing.
  • Strong communication skills, a must.
  • Strong presentation skills (Powerpoint, etc.), a must.
  • Enjoys helping people and is very customer oriented.
  • Self-motivated and dynamic.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Bilingual French-English.
