Purpose

The Project Manager is responsible for developing long-term strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This person is the principal point of contact for the customer and oversees the contractual obligations. The incumbent brings a balanced approach of project management (PMI/PMP) and customer service.

Objectives:

  • Establishing and developing a strong business relationship with Key Accounts.
  • Managing repair and manufacturing projects from Key Accounts.

Main responsibilities

Account Management:

  • Build and lead M1’ strategy in the management of key accounts.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to grow the business.
  • Manage performance via KPIs, and lead business reviews with the client.

Repair and Manufacturing Project Management:

  • Perform regular reviews of project status with Functional Managers of the Company.
  • Define recovery actions, identify risks, critical path and mitigate impact.
  • Monitor earned value of the project evolution (budget spent vs work completed).
  • Monitor completion of the project up to invoicing.

 

 Your ideal background:

  • College or Technical degree in Engineering (aerospace), Business Administration or another related field.
  • Ten (10) to twenty (20) years of relevant experience in aerospace.
  • Customer service oriented and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant technical knowledge of aircraft component maintenance.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple repair and manufacturing projects.
  • PMI/PMP certification, an asset.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual French and English (required for blueprints and technical documents reading).
