M1 Composites Technology is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) and Design Approval Organization (DAO) specializing in advanced composites & sheet metal structures. M1 provides speciality products and services to the commercial and defense aerospace sectors including: engineering, certification (STCs & PMA parts), manufacturing, repair, and NDT (LPI, Eddy current, ultrasonic, thermography, ELCH, borescope). M1 is a leader in repair & overhaul of nacelles, flight control surfaces, radomes, doors, interiors, fairings, cargo nets, and much more.  In addition, we are an Airbus and Boeing (Gold) Licensed MRO facility, ISO9001/AS9100/AS9110 certified, NADCAP, military approved.

Purpose

The Quotation Specialist plays a key role in the Program Manager’s team. The team takes care of M1 Composites’ customers and their needs from start to finish. By preparing MRO cost estimates, the incumbent contributes directly to the company’s growth, sales, and visibility in the industry. Thus, the Quotation Specialist is an essential stakeholder in the excellence of the service we offer to our customers.

Objectives:

  • To provide the most accurate quotes with regards to the market and the company’s capability.
  • To offer an outstanding service to our customers.

Main responsibilities

Quality and accuracy of quotes

  • Reviews, analyzes and evaluates technical data on work orders for costing purposes.
  • Collaborates with colleague in other departments for costing purposes.
  • Develops a good feel for cost vs market value.
  • Builds and maintains reference tools to support accuracy of quotes.
  • Update the ERP database.

Customer Service

  • Considers customer requests and specific needs.
  • Collaborates with the Customer Account Managers to ensure excellent customer service.

 Your ideal background:

  • Professional of College degree in aerospace, or any other relevant degree.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the aerospace MRO industry.
  • A person with a passion for aviation who leads by example and is committed to his or her work.
  • A person with excellent analytical skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French, spoken and written (required for blueprints and technical documents reading).
