Additive Manufacturing

M1 aims to reduce cost, and improve quality by offering additive manufacturing solutions. Additive manufacturing can be used in isolation or in combination with metallic and/or composite parts to improve design, durability, reliability, and production efficiency.

M1 used additive manufacturing in the development of CH-147 battle damage repair kits.

Engine Covers

M1 Composites specializes in the design and manufacturing of innovative engine covers. Our engine covers are engineered to provide optimal protection and durability for aircraft engines. Here are key highlights of our engine covers:

  • Unique Design: Our engine covers are unlike any other on the market, offering a combination of durability, lightweight construction, and ease of use.
  • High Durability: Made from high-strength synthetic fabric, our engine covers are built to withstand various environmental conditions and protect engine components from corrosion and premature degradation.
  • Lightweight and Transportable: We prioritize lightweight construction to ensure ease of handling and transportation. Our engine covers are designed for quick installation and removal, requiring only two technicians and less than five minutes per engine.
  • Enhanced Safety: With a focus on safety, our engine covers eliminate the need for ladders or scaffolding during installation, reducing the risk of falls from heights.
  • Compatibility: Our engine covers are designed to fit a wide range of aircraft and engine types, including popular models like the Boeing 737 MAX, 777, and 787, as well as Airbus A220, A320, and A330.
  • Cost Savings: By using our engine covers, customers can significantly reduce engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul costs, leading to substantial annual savings.
