Objective
As part of our facility team, the Building Maintenance Attendant plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our operations environment. From production equipment to critical infrastructure such as clean rooms and industrial systems, your work directly supports the quality and efficiency expected in the aerospace industry.
What you will do:
- Perform general maintenance of building and facilities (interior and exterior)
- Ensure proper operation of systems (HVAC, ventilation, heating, etc.)
- Carry out repairs requiring basic knowledge in: Heating & ventilation, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc.
- Execute preventive maintenance on plant equipment
- Plan regular inspection of different equipment,
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including but not limited to: Dust collectors, Paint booths, Industrial oven, Autoclave, etc.
- Support equipment improvement and modification initiatives
- Coordinate and follow up on work performed by subcontractors
- Participate in preventive maintenance and calibration programs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Complete required maintenance documentation
- Perform other related duties as required
Idealprofile:
- Any relevant combination of High school diploma and technical training
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and guide daily maintenance activities
- Experience in industrial maintenance (aerospace an asset)
- Technical skills in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or building systems
- Comfortable troubleshooting and resolving complex issues independently
- Experience working with subcontractors or external vendors (asset)
- Experience with an ERP system (a significant asset)
- Bilingual French/English*
* The position requires excellent written and spoken English skills. The role involves reading and understanding technical documents in English on a daily basis, particularly from international companies, as well as regular communication with clients, suppliers, and other international stakeholders.
